Some of our designs use lightweight gold construction to balance comfort and value. These pieces can be beautiful for everyday wear—but they benefit from sensible habits. This guide is general information; it is not a substitute for in-person inspection by a professional jeweler.
How to protect and maintain your pieces
Day-to-day wear: Put jewelry on after lotions, perfume, or hair products have dried. Avoid wearing lightweight chains or hollow pieces during heavy lifting, gym work, or activities where they can snag, kink, or crush.
Sleep and water: Remove delicate gold before sleep, swimming, or long showers. Chlorine, salt water, and repeated bending can stress links and clasps over time.
Storage:Store items separately in a soft pouch or lined box so pieces don't scratch or tangle. Fasten necklaces and bracelets when storing to reduce knots.
Cleaning: For routine care, a soft, lint-free cloth is often enough. Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive brushes unless a professional recommends them for your specific item.
When to see a jeweler
If a clasp loosens, a stone feels loose, or you notice a dent or crack, stop wearing the piece and visit a qualified jeweler. Early repair can prevent loss or further damage.
